Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Fundraising Campaign earns 2015 “Best of Class” Award

Last Thursday, the Religious Communications Council (an international interfaith association of religion communicators) announced the winners of the prestigious 2015 DeRose-Hinkhouse awards—recognizing excellence in religious communications and public relations. We couldn’t be prouder of our client, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) for achieving eleven awards, which include six granted for work which xiik concepted and designed.

One of the winners was the 2014 Special Offerings Campaign, which won Best of Class, as well as the Award for Excellence for best Fundraising Campaign. Other recognized projects included a direct-mail piece, an informational packet and a targeted ad campaign for the Presbyterian Giving Catalog.

The DeRose-Hinkhouse awards were founded in 1929 and cover a range of media, marketing and public relations categories. The full list includes: Periodicals, Periodicals – Single Issue, Public Relations Materials, Writing for Publication, Specialized Writing, Graphic Design and Photography, Audio and Video, Public Relations and Advertising Campaign, Digital Communications and Social Media.

xiik has been working with the PC(USA) since 2013 on Special Offerings campaign materials, as well as helping launch and promote both the Presbyterian Giving Catalog and the Special Offerings Leader Support Network.
